As you would know, there are historically registered qualifications that were not granted an extended last learner enrolment date, which came because of the publication of Government Gazette No. 50742 of 03 June 2024 read in conjunction with the QCTO Directive on the implementation of Transitional Arrangements attached hereto.
The publication of Government Gazette No. 51771 of 13 December 2024, also attached hereto paved way for the QCTO and SAQA to address the ETDP SETA several submissions that were made in October 2024, March 2025, and June 2025 for additional historically registered qualifications to be granted an extended learner enrolment date.
Towards end August 2025, the QCTO reported to the ETDP SETA that a list of additional historically registered qualifications that were requested to be granted an extended last learner enrolment date were accordingly recommended to SAQA for approval.
In the last week of August 2025, SAQA extended the last learner enrolment date for the historically registered qualifications listed in the table below.
Accordingly, AIMS has been updated with the extended last learner enrolment date for the qualifications listed in the table above. The Skills Development Providers are requested to URGENLTY to complete their pending learner enrolments, process assessments and request external moderation.
