CIPPT is an independent non-profit quality-focused company for learning and development professionals that encourages high standards of performance and professionalism in all aspects of ETDP and the broader training community through sharing of relevant information, continuous professional development and promotion of best practice.

CIPPT aims to ensure professional conduct of the highest standard amongst all ETDP practitioners by virtue of acting as the professional body to register practitioners and trainers, and develop and design applicable qualifications and designations to enhance and uphold these standards of quality delivery.

CIPPT is a Professional Body and is SAQA registered : ID 1068

CIPPT is a member-led professional body for individual teachers, trainers, tutors, assessors and other professionals working in the education and training sector

As a professional body, CIPPT has a critical role in supporting individuals to be excellent in their practice, thereby enhancing the professional status of educators, developers and trainer

CIPPT focuses on the continuing professional development (CPD) of members and developing valuable services to support their professional development and excellence, in order to deliver the best possible learning experience to learners

The CIPPT designations are registered with SAQA, as per CIPPT Professional Body registration letter until 27 September 2022 : The designations are indicated below and the criteria is available on our website :
          Professional OD Practitioner
          Master OD Practitioner
          Fellow OD Practitioner

CIPPT is currently investigating the addition of designations to enhance and grow the professional pathways within the Occupational Directed sector

The purpose of CIPPT has been defined as follows :
To foster transformation through the creation of Integrity, Competence and Ethics in a Professional Body of Education and Training Practitioners
